INDOZONE.ID – The thuggery action against merchants in Medan has occurred again. This time, the anarchist act was carried out by firing fireworks at a merchant’s place of business.
This incident occurred on Jalan Setia Budi, Tanjung Rejo Village, Medan Sunggal Subdistrict, Medan City on Sunday (21/02) at around 20.51 WIB.
In the video footage circulating on social media where a man walks towards a merchant’s place of business while releasing fireworks.
The incident suddenly made people around the location, especially the visitors, panic and fled from the location.
From the information gathered, before the incident occurred, the thugs came to the place of business and asked the owner of the business for a fee. However, the business owner did not want to give the money which was considered extortionate.
Not happy with this, the thug left the place then returned with a friend on a motorbike and immediately fired fireworks.
The thuggery action video was uploaded by the Instagram account @ sumut. The latest on Monday (22/2/2021) in the morning.
